Ballarat Highlands Gold Diggers contest inaugural Junior Pairs tournament in Geelong

Jack Baldwin (Ballarat North Bowling Club) Tom Baldwin (Ballarat North), Micah Oswin (Victoria Bowls Club) and Logan Mattei (Ballarat North) headed down to City of Geelong Bowls Club on Sunday, 24th September 2023 to compete in the inaugural Junior Pairs tournament.

In a quality field, the boys competed strongly and had a great experience under the Thunder Dome.

Congratulations to Logan and Micah in finishing in fourth spot (just missing out on third by shots up), however, they did pick up best game win in the third game.

A super effort by four of the region’s up and coming junior bowlers.

The Junior Pairs tournament was a successful day with the future of lawn bowls putting on fantastic display for the watching crowd.

The next outing the Ballarat Gold Diggers is the Doug Kneebone Tournament on Wednesday, 27th September 2023 at Club Sunbury.
