BHBR Championships
This is the information page for all State Competitions run by Ballarat Highlands Bowls Region (BHBR) including dates, draws, and results.
A Bowlslink ID is required to enter all region events with payment by credit card made at time of entry.

Note: For all comps other than singles you will need the National ID of all players in the team. See your club administrator (or list on noticeboard)
Please be aware that entries close at 8pm on final day of entry and all dates and draws are subject to change at the discretion of clubs and tournament officials.

The Champion of Champions Singles event is open to the winner of the BHBR affiliated Club’s Singles Championship played in the current season.
Over 60 and Novice Events
In 2024, the Over 60 and Novice events were launched as two separate state carnivals administered by Bowls Victoria.
Over 60 Event
The Over 60 Event is from Monday, 20th May to Sunday 26 May 2024 at CluBarham and it replaces the previous Over 60’s region State Championships.
Entrants can participate in up to three events, as well as three supporter events, including Mixed Pairs, Singles and Men’s/Women’s Pairs.

Novice Event
The Novice event is scheduled for Friday, 10th May to Monday, 13th May 2024 at Mulgrave Country Club.
Novice bowlers from across the state will gather in the Eastern Ranges playing area to compete in the new format Novice State Carnival.
The Mulgrave Country Club will be the Carnival’s ‘Hub Venue’, hosting all the finals.
Supporting host clubs include Glen Waverley, Burden Park, Narre Warren, Berwick and Dandenong Club.
The 2024 event is open to any bowler who became affiliated with a bowling club (nation-wide) after May 1st, 2021 (inclusive).
The Carnival will now include both Men’s and Women’s Singles (21-up) and Pairs (15 ends, 3-bowl pairs) formats, rather than Singles only.
