Ballarat Highlands Bowls Region hosts successful Heartbeat 2024 tournament

The annual Heartbeat Tournament which raises money for the Cardiac Departments at Ballarat Base Hospital and St John of God Hospital, was held on Sunday, 7th January 2024 at Ballarat Memorial Sports and City Oval Bowling Clubs with 38 teams of 4 players participating in very trying weather conditions.

The Heartbeat 2024 winners at BMS were the team of Shane Slater, Craig McKee, Beth Davidson & Judy Slater, and City Oval winners were John Mahar, Lana Bellingham, Liz Kierce & Rob Storey.

A total of $4,865.00 was raised from sponsors, entry fees and raffles which was a great result for our chosen organisations.
