2022-2023 BHBR Over 60 Women’s Singles Quarter Finals Results
Quarter Finals for the 2022-2023 BHBR Over 60 Womens’s Singles were completed on Thursday, 20th October 2022 at Sebastopol Bowling Club.
Unfortunately, Sebastopol Bowling Club is unable to hold Day 3 of the Over 60 Singles event and Ballarat North has kindly stepped in to host all Final’s matches next week.
Semi Finals are scheduled for 9.30am start on Thursday, 27th October 2022 at Ballarat North Bowling Club, with the Grand Final set down for 12.30pm in the afternoon.
It’s a repeat of last year’s Final in this year’s first Semi Final, with City Oval bowlers Janine Roberts and Liz Kierce going head-to-head, while Midlands Trish Speechley faces Webbcona’s Helen Williams.
22/23 BHBR Over 60 Women’s Singles
Only three Quarter Finals were played on the day with City Oval’s Janine Roberts (City Oval) proving too strong for Victoria’s Deb Gorin in the first match, winning 21-17 in a tough contest.
In the other two matches, City Oval’s Liz Keirce defeated Victoria’s Jill Hopper (21-6) in solid fashion, while Midlands Trish Speechley was always on top in her emphatic 21-2 victory over Buninyong’s Yvonne Clark.
Diggers Rest bowler Faye Bonnici was unable to compete in her Quarter Final and forfeited victory to Helen Williams.
