2023-2024 Player Ladders in the Ballarat Highlands Bowls Region

Mt Xavier may have finished second bottom on the Division 1 table in the Ballarat district playing area, but they provided the top 2 players for the home and away season on the 2023-2024 player ladder in Chris McDonald and Rob Storey.

Chris skipped 17 games for Mt Xavier managing 14 wins, 1 draw, and just the 1 loss for the season in a fine performance, while leader Rob also had a great season playing 18 games for 14 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses and added the Mt Xavier club championship along the way.

In third place was Victoria’s Kevin Haintz who played 16 games as leader for 14 wins and 1 loss, providing plenty of impetus for the leading Brenton Coad rink, as did Kevin Coad (Victoria) in fourth place on 14 wins and 2 losses from 17 games playing second.

In Highlands Division 1, Kyneton’s father and son dynamic duo, Allan and Anthony Mathison, and clubmate Andy McDonald finished top three with 12 wins and 4 losses apiece.
