Ballarat hosts their Super Veterans Day at Sebastopol Bowling Club

The Ballarat district playing area hosted their Super Veterans Day on Monday, 18th September 2023 at Sebastopol Bowling Club.

This was a very successful day with 61 Super Veterans attending, representing 15 different clubs.

Seven rinks of eight bowlers took to the greens for 10 ends of fours, with some very enjoyable bowling being experienced under the dome.

The group then adjourned inside for afternoon tea where they were officially welcomed by BHBR Chairman Ian Guymer, who also indicated that BHBR would be looking to make this at least an annual event.

The achievements of 29 bowlers who have recently attained Super Veteran status were highlighted to the gathering and they were presented with their badges by BHBR Vice Chair Lyn Bryce.

All in all, a very successful event and the BHBR would like to thank the Sebastopol Bowling Club for hosting the event.
