In Ballarat Division 1 – City Oval 69-4 lost to Victoria 82-14, Sebastopol 85-14 defeated Ballarat East 63-4, Creswick 76-3 lost to Mt Xavier 86-15, Linton 87-17 defeated Learmonth 58-1, and Webbcona 68-1 lost to BMS 100-17.

In Highlands Division 1 – Broadford 48-2 lost to Kilmore 80-14, Kyneton Golf 62-15 defeated Diggers Rest 44-1, Kyneton 78-16 defeated Trentham 44-0, Gisborne 74-16 defeated Lancefield 54-0, while Romsey had the bye.
